UH won 59-14 against Texas State!
This was my first college football game. It was so much better than any high school sports game I've been to. The student section was so loud & super pepped up! They started the game off with blowing out fire with a few fireworks which made everybody super pumped. When we saw James Harden from the H-Rockets on the sidelines, we all chanted "Harden! Harden!" & he waved! Really, I think the best part of the experience though was screaming our heads off when there was a touchdown:)

Game Day Outfit!
I wore a UH shirt with black leggings. I also put my hair up in a high pony-tail with a red scrunchie. At the game, they gave us Go Coogs! headbands so I looked super spirited! It was awesome to see the stadium filled with everybody wearing red & chanting C-O-U-G-A-R-S!
Each cup cost $7 at the game! (which I totally wasn't expecting) Like $7 for a soda?!?
The first 2,000 students got souvenir t-shirts so we came early & got seats three rows from the front! I wasn't in band in high school, but I've always admired how synchronized & how amazing their formations were when they played music during games. I didn't snap a picture of them, but the band looked and sounded ah-mazing!
Whenever we scored a touchdown, we all screamed, jumped, and pretty much went all out even when it was clear we were going to win (It also helped that a giant helmet would go across the field while people threw t-shirts after touchdowns:)).
I loved how thousands of people across the stadium came here in support of our team. It made the night so full of unity and spirit!
Also, if you can, you guys should start watching these new TV shows that just premiered! I'm obsessed with all of them!!!
